More than 45 people were in attendance including, including State Sen. George D. Maziarz and representatives from the Lockport Police Department.

NCAP members recognized for outstanding duty hours were: Robert Shepard, Michael Bartolotta Jr., Jessica Carlstedt, Luke D. Kantor and Aaron Wilson with more than 200 hours; Conrad Janik Jr. and Donald Speaker Jr. with more than 300; Bryan Barish with more than 450; and Wayne Lombardo with more than 500.

The Niagara County Auxiliary Police serves the community by assisting local law enforcement, including (but not limited to) the Niagara County Sheriff's Department, Lockport Police Department, the Lewiston Police Department, and the Town of Niagara Police by providing non-critical duties. Members of the NCAP assist at various Niagara County community events by providing patrolmen for traffic control, bike patrol, crowd control and more. All members are sworn peace officers and, on average, receive more than 175 hours of training prior to certification.
