Led by Commodore Jason Suitor, the Youngstown Yacht Club has begun its 82nd year of operations in 2013. Located at 491 Water St., in the Village of Youngstown, the club is open to boaters and non- boaters alike.

The club features an upscale restaurant on its grounds along with a full racing schedule, a very active cruising group of both sail and powerboats, and an active social agenda. Younger members can participate in a quality junior sailing program with courses designed to meet the needs of both beginner and advanced junior sailors. Depending on the ability and interest of the junior sailors, they can participate in courses from only a week to several weeks in duration. To participate in junior sailing, students need not be club members.

Those interested in club membership or junior sailing should contact the club office at 745-7230, ext. 10.
