Bills Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas guests on the
final "Fred Jackson Show" of the season on WBBZ-TV
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson will comment on his team's hiring of former Syracuse University coach Doug Marrone live on Monday night. "The Fred Jackson Show" tapes and airs at 6:30 p.m. on WBBZ-TV.
Marrone went 25-25 in four years with the Orange. His team sported an 8-5 record this past season. Syracuse tied for the Big East Conference championship and then upset West Virginia at Yankee Stadium in the Pinstripe Bowl.
Bob Koshinski, vice president and general manager of WBBZ-TV, is Jackson's co-host. He has more coverage of the Buffalo Bills hiring of Marrone as coach on his website, www.allsportswny.com.
Special guest Thurman Thomas will join Jackson and Koshinski. The former Buffalo Bills running back played in four consecutive Super Bowls with the team. Thomas was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007, and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008. Thomas and Jackson will discuss the changes at One Bills Drive, the past season, and the future of the franchise.
The running backs will answer questions from fans on the WBBZ Twitter and Facebook pages with social media coordinator Brad Gelber. A full studio audience is expected for the final show of the season, which will include members of the Clarence High School basketball team and the Buffalo Jills.
"The Fred Jackson Show" re-broadcasts Monday at 10:30 p.m., and Tuesday at 9 a.m. The show is sponsored by Sahlem's Roofing and Siding.
