Tate Stevens joins previously announced musical acts Lifehouse and Carmen Electra

Hot on the heels of his win on "The X Factor," Tate Stevens will perform on "New Year's Eve Live!" airing Monday, Dec. 31 (11 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. live), on FOX. Stevens will join previously announced performers Lifehouse and Carmen Electra.

Stevens, a 37-year-old country singer from Raymore, Mo., had been employed as a road worker prior to auditioning for "The X Factor." Mentored by judge L.A. Reid, Stevens emerged as America's choice and the winner of the coveted "The X Factor" title, along with a $5 million recording contract with Sony Music.

Broadcast from Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, "New Year's Eve Live!" also will feature FOX cameras capturing the world-famous New Year's Eve Ball as it makes its descent into New York's Times Square.
