Albert McFadyen will offer a portrayal of Franklin Delano Roosevelt on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, Friday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. in the Niagara County History Center Meeting Room, 215 Niagara St., Lockport.
McFadyen's presentation of "FDR: The Four Freedom Speech," coincides with the 71st anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The "Four Freedoms" espoused by FDR were freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want and freedom from fear. McFadyen will recite parts of that speech as well as parts of the famous Pearl Harbor war message.
McFadyen has played FDR at many locations including schools and theaters.
The History Center will not be charging admission for this free, public program, but will accept any donations to assist the organization to present quality programming throughout the year.
