Wayne Newton 'brightens' the holiday season in Niagara Falls Friday

World-famous entertainer, in town for performances at Seneca Niagara Casino, will flip the switch for downtown holiday lights and will receive key to the city

WHAT: The world-famous entertainer known as "Mr. Las Vegas" will become "Mr. Niagara Falls" this Friday, as Wayne Newton joins Seneca Niagara Casino and the City of Niagara Falls in celebrating the holidays. Before "turning on the lights" for the brilliant Niagara Holiday Lights display along Old Falls Street downtown, Newton will receive the key to the city from Mayor Paul Dyster and a gift from United Way of Greater Niagara.

Newton is in Niagara Falls performing seven holiday shows at Seneca Niagara Events Center from Dec. 5 through 9. Tickets start at $20 and seats are available for all shows.
