The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University will host its sixth annual Holiday Bash on Friday, Dec. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. Celebrate the holidays with friends in the beautiful central gallery of Niagara University's Castellani Art Museum. Dance to live music by the popular local band Penelope. A variety of refreshments, cash bar, basket raffle, door prizes, and a 50/50 drawing are all part of the fun.

" 'Museum Mixers' are a great way for people to enjoy the museum in a friendly, festive atmosphere," said Susan Clements, the museum's community relations coordinator. "You can have fun with your friends, enjoy live music and see the museum's latest exhibitions."

This year's Holiday Bash will include the presentation of the Tops Friendly Markets Community Choice Award. Over the past four months, visitors to "TopSpin 10: The Ten Year TopSpin Retrospective" were given ballots to vote for their favorite artist in the exhibition, which featured all 29 artists who have had TopSpin solo shows at the CAM in the past decade. The top vote-getter will receive prizes donated by Tops Friendly Markets and Café Antica.

The Castellani Art Museum Shop will be open during the event, offering a 20 percent discount on selected merchandise, including jewelry, children's books and toys, scarves, cards art books and more.

CAM's sixth annual Holiday Bash is free to Castellani Art Museum members and Niagara University faculty, staff and students. Admission is $10 for the general public. For more information, call 716-286-8200.
