The Sanborn Area Historical Society will host its Holiday Open House at the Schoolhouse Museum on Niagara Street from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2.
Monica Woodworth will be in town to play the organ for the event. Enjoy refreshments and a sing-along.
On Dec. 8 and 9, the Sanborn-Lewiston Farm Museum on Saunders Settlement Road, along with the Sanborn Area Business and Professional Association, will host "Christmas at the Farm" from 1 to 4 p.m. both days. Admission is free.
There will be crafts for the children to make, along with refreshments and, of course, Santa. Bring a camera to take pictures. On Saturday, Dec. 8, there will be hayrides (weather permitting). On Sunday Dec. 9, Hartland Carriages will offer horse and wagon rides. The farm will be all aglow with holiday decorations.
Also, the Sanborn Old General Store on Buffalo Street will host a "Holiday Open House" from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Refreshments and special discounts will be offered from its vendors. A gift basket will be given away to one lucky shopper, so don't forget to register.
