Culinary Arts students at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center have been putting their skills to use to help out the Salvation Army in Lockport. The Orleans/Niagara BOCES students in Bob Ihle's program cooked and carved 35 turkeys that were donated to the Salvation Army and will be used as part of a community outreach at Thanksgiving. "We love doing this for such a great organization," said Ihle. "The students gain experience roasting and carving that will hopefully be able to use at their own Thanksgiving or if they work in a restaurant. Everyone benefits."
