Grammy-winning megastar Taylor Swift to perform on "The X Factor" Thursday, Nov. 15

Thursday, on the first live results show of the season, it was announced that Jason Brock, one of L.A. Reid's "Over 25" finalists, was eliminated on "The X Factor." Hosts Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez announced that Brock and Cece Frey received the fewest votes following the performance show. Then, judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears listened to Brock and Frey each perform their "song for survival." After the judges came to a deadlock, Brock was sent home, based on the number of America's votes he received.

Also Thursday, for the first time on any singing competition ever, this week's individual vote rankings were revealed, from the bottom (12th) act to the No. 1 vote-getter.

Earlier in the show, One Direction - the global sensation that rose to fame on the U.K. version of "The X Factor" - performed "Live While We're Young" and "Little Things."

Next week, on Wednesday, Nov. 14 (8 until 10 p.m.), "The X Factor" finalists: "Teens" - Beatrice Miller, Arin Ray, Carly Rose Sonenclar and Diamond White; "Young Adults" - CeCe Frey, Jennel Garcia and Paige Thomas; "Over 25s" - Vino Alan and Tate Stevens; and "Groups" - Emblem3, Fifth Harmony and Lyric 145 - perform live for America's votes.

On Thursday, Nov. 15 (8 p.m.), six-time Grammy-winning superstar Taylor Swift will take to "The X Factor" stage for the first-ever television performance of "State of Grace," from her blockbuster new album, "Red." Then, find out who moves on in the competition and who is sent home, when the results of America's votes are revealed live.

Swift, a six-time Grammy Award winner, is the youngest winner in the history of the music industry's highest honor: the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. She recently released her fourth studio album, "Red," to rave reviews and record-breaking sales, selling more than 1.2 million copies in its first week of release. Writing all of her own songs, Swift has career record sales in excess of 22 million albums and 50 million song downloads, and her two most recent albums are two of only 18 albums in the entire history of music to sell more than 1 million copies in a single week. She has had singles top both the country and pop radio charts around the globe, and has thus far scored 11 No. 1 singles across multiple radio formats.

She is one of the top five selling digital music artists worldwide, and is the top-selling digital artist in country music history. Time magazine has named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world. She is also Billboard magazine's youngest-ever Woman of the Year, and her more than 100 industry awards include the American Music Awards' Artist of the Year, as well as the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music's Entertainer of the Year.
