The following activity occurred Monday, Oct. 1 to Saturday, Oct. 20, as reported by the Youngstown Police Department.

Monday, Oct. 1

•Church Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Male, 25, cited for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at 46 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

Tuesday, Oct. 2

•500 block of Lake Road, attempt to locate. YPD assisted Niagara County Sheriff's Office on a drunk driver complaint. Plate number logged; negative results reported.

•100 block of Chestnut Street, standby. Patrol on location for a female removing her belongings following a domestic earlier in the day.

Friday, Oct. 5

•300 block of Carrollwood Drive, AED response. Male, 85, taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.

Monday, Oct. 8

•Fort Niagara Visitor's Center, assist. YPD on location with State Police on an alarm response. All secure.

Tuesday, Oct. 9

•Oak Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 35, for felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Uniform traffic tickets and appearance tickets issued for Porter Town Court. Vehicle secured; report filed.

Wednesday, Oct. 10

•Lockport Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Female, 30, cited for having an expired inspection. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

•300 block of Glenvale Road, animal problem/lost dog. Female, 46, reported a lost black labrador.

Friday, Oct. 12

•Church Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Male, 21, cited for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at 40 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

•Location not specified, vehicle/traffic stop. Male, 19, cited for unsafe passing. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

Saturday, Oct. 13

•1700 block of Lake Road, assist. YPD on location with NCSO for an alarm response. Phone problems reported.

Sunday, Oct. 14

•400 block of Lockport Street, officer requested. Caller stated individuals next door should not be there. Patrol checked and found the previous owner was removing property.

Monday, Oct. 15

•Lake Road, reckless driver in a green vehicle. Patrol unable to locate.

•Main Street at Fort Niagara State Park entrance, suspicious vehicle. Patrol located vehicle with a male, 26, and a female, 25, listed as occupants. Male found in possession of a switchblade and charged with criminal possession of a weapon. Suspect fingerprinted and released on his own recognizance. Porter Town Court date set; report filed.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

•200 block of Lockport Street, Youngstown Red Brick School Village Center, check welfare. Male reported trapped in an elevator. Village DPW notified and opened door.

•Locations on Church Street and on Lockport Street, separate vehicle/traffic pullovers. Female, 47, cited for speeding in zone on Church Street. Driver clocked at 42 mph in a 30 mph zone. Male, 21, cited for speeding in zone on Lockport Street. Driver clocked at 59 mph in a 35 mph zone. Uniform traffic tickets issued to both drivers for Porter Town Court dates. Reports filed.

Friday, Oct. 19

•400 block of Second Street, alarm response at a bank branch. Lewiston Police and NCSO assisted; property secured. No key holder on location.

•Third and Oak streets, traffic detail. Warning issued to driver.

Saturday, Oct. 20

•400 block of Lockport Street, juvenile problem at a church property. Juveniles found loitering on the lawn were dispersed.

•Lake Road at Robert Moses Parkway, assist/accident hit-run. Caller reported a vehicle heading southbound in the westbound lane was involved in a head-on accident/hit-run. Area checked by patrol with negative results.

•500 block of Northfield Drive, loud party. Party instructed to keep the peace and advised of village noise ordinance.

•900 block of Balmer Road, assist/criminal mischief. Caller reports suspect, unknown, threw a brick through a bedroom window. NCSO to handle report.
