The annual Electric Lights Parade is Saturday, Nov. 3, on Military Road from Fourth Avenue to Packard Road (at Kmart). This year, the parade team is looking to raise more than one ton of food to assist the families and individuals in need of food for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This food drive helps feed families that cannot make ends meet for the holidays.

On Saturday, at 5:30 p.m., come down to Military, enjoy more than 60 floats, bands, music and possibly even our special friend from the North Pole, while donating your canned goods and non-perishable items to those who are less fortunate. There will be individuals walking with shopping carts to collect the canned goods during the parade. Community Missions will also have a bin on its float or up at the main stage. Marsh's Grocery on Packard Road, and Julie Clark at the Fashion Outlets have also placed bins at their business locations to offer drop-off points for food.
