New student dining facility features Brazilian barbecue, fireside lounge and more

The grand opening ceremony of the University at Buffalo's new Crossroads Culinary Center (C3), a student dining facility that puts UB at the forefront of the collegiate dining experience, will take place beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Guided tours will follow.

Crossroads is located on the first floor of Red Jacket Quadrangle in the Ellicott Complex on UB's North Campus.

A detailed, enlargeable map is available here: http://www.buffalo.edu/buildings/maps/NorthCampus.pdf.

Crossroads will be the primary dining facility for roughly 3,800 students who live in the Ellicott Complex and Greiner Hall. Unlike traditional collegiate dining facilities, Crossroads will offers food served Marche-style, meaning it will be prepared to order in full view of the students at individual stations.

Beginning with Greiner Hall in 2011 and continuing through the opening of the Clinical and Translational Research Center and Kapoor Hall, UB will have opened six major new buildings across its three campuses. Crossroads is another milestone in the UB 2020 strategic plan to transform UB into an elite public research university.
