Plans are being made to honor veterans at a Veterans Day Parade in downtown Buffalo, Saturday, Nov. 10. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Delaware Avenue and West Tupper Street and end at City Hall in Buffalo.
Marching bands, veteran groups and other community groups are encouraged to welcome home veterans of all eras and participate in the parade. Groups interested in marching are asked to email: [email protected] using "veterans" as the subject.
The community is encouraged to attend the parade showing appreciation for veterans' service. For more information call 862-8753 or 862-8754.
VA Western New York Healthcare System, VETSHERD, Erie County Veterans Service Office along with other veterans service groups and community agencies are coordinating the 2012 Veterans Day Parade.
