Ivan Koumaev of "So You Think You Can Dance" fame will bring his wealth of professional experience to Jaclyn Carol's Dance Academy in Wheatfield on Nov. 10 and 11, leading workshops with students of all ages.

Koumaev's top-six finish in season two of "SYTYCD" was just the beginning of what has quickly become an impressive and multifaceted résumé. He has since contributed choreography to "SYTYCD" as well as to "The Voice" and to the tours of Ne-Yo and Usher. He has been a lead dancer on tour with Usher, Ne-Yo, Sierra and Madonna. He also serves as co-choreographer for Marty Kudelka, working with artists including Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez. Koumaev returned as an "all-star" in 2011 for the eighth season of "SYTYCD" and is currently in talks with Mark Burnett Productions ("The Voice") to star as the host of a new dance talent competition series to be produced by NBC.

For more information on cost of workshops or to register, email [email protected] or stop by the studio at 2884 Niagara Falls Blvd., Wheatfield.
