Raise your beer stein high and give "Prost" to the third annual Old Falls Street Oktoberfest, sponsored by the Downtown Niagara Falls Business Association, on Saturday, Oct. 13, from noon to 9 pm., on Old Falls Street's middle block in Downtown Niagara Falls. The German-themed event will be held rain or shine and is free and open to the public.

The German American Musicians and the Bergholz German Band will provide live music. Festival guests will enjoy a wide variety of traditional German food, beer and wine vending, as well as other food and merchandise vendors throughout the day. The official Old Falls Street Oktoberfest T-shirt, featuring the new festive logo, will also be available for purchase.

The event also features free children's activities, from noon to 5 p.m., including a petting zoo, bounce house, arts and crafts, games and much more. Children under 12 years of age will receive free root beer, apple cider and pretzels.

"We are proud to host our Oktoberfest for the third year in a row," said Global Spectrum's Ryan Coate, chairperson of the Downtown Niagara Falls Business Association and general manager of Old Falls Street, USA, and the Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls.
