Lewiston Police Blotter for Sept. 29, 2012

The following activity occurred Monday, Sept. 17, to Sunday, Sept. 23, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 93 response calls during this period.

Monday, Sept. 17

•5300 block of Military Road, Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center, recovered property. Patrol reported taking possession of three syringes containing a brownish liquid. Syringes/content was sent to an unspecified lab for identification and quantity of contents. Report filed.

•Ridge/Dickersonville roads, MVA with injuries. Driver No. 1, a female, 22, taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center for an evaluation. Both vehicles secured; MV forms issued. Report filed.

•Lutts Road, attempt to locate/mental health response. LPD assisted Niagara County Sheriff's Office. One male in custody.

•North Ninth Street, reckless driver. Gold sedan listed; vehicle gone on arrival.

•Ridge/Porter Center roads, reckless driver. Plate number logged; all OK.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a female, 32. Male, 37, listed as a suspect. Report only at this time.

•Military Road/Elsa Place, suspicious person. LPD assisted Town of Niagara Police on a call of a male with guns.

•6500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, fight at a bar/restaurant. Twenty people reported fighting; all OK.

•LPD office, violation of a court order. Statement taken from a female complainant, 20, regarding a female, 19, listed as person involved. No charges at this time.

•400 block of Onondaga Street, officer requested. Male, 64, reports unknown party trimmed his hedges. Investigation to continue.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, aggravated harassment. Female, 32, listed as a complainant and a male, 37, listed as the suspect. Investigation ongoing.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

•100 block of North Sixth Street, larceny. Patrol observed a male removing material from a site; the individual thought it was scrap. Material replaced.

•Locations on the 300 block of Dansworth Road, the 4300 block of Autumn Lane and the 700 block of Cayuga Street, separate alarm responses. Locations secure; State Police at one address and homeowner on location at another.

•1800 block of Mount Hope Road, possible underage drinking. Call unfounded.

•2000 block of Upper Mountain Road, field on fire. Pekin Volunteer Fire Co. responded.

•4000 block of Ransomville Road, officer requested, possible menacing. Statement taken from a male, 27. Call unfounded.

Thursday, Sept. 20

•Niagara Falls Boulevard, Niagara Falls, assist. LPD on location with Niagara Falls Police Department for a robbery at a convenience store. Suspect, listed as a black male, age 19 to 22 years old, 5 foot, 8 inches and 145 pounds, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans reportedly fled into Cayuga Village. K-9 track of suspect conducted.

•4300 block of Creek Road, warrant execution. LPD and NCSO issued a warrant on a male, 20. Patrol transported to NCSO.

•5400 block of Walmore Road, shooter complaint. Patrol reported no one found in area and all secure.

•5900 block of Kline Road, juvenile problem. Handled by patrol.

•600 block of Oneida Street, suspicious person. Patrol reported balloons on a front porch were casting a shadow.

Friday, Sept. 21

•400 block of Dickersonville Road, alarm response. Patrol reported an unlocked front door. Call avoidable and cleared. Report filed.

•Walmore Road, suspicious person. Two female juveniles returned to Niagara-Wheatfield High School.

•1500 block of Saunders Settlement Road, lock out. Patrol reported a 1-year-old who had locked the grandmother out of the house. Patrol gained entry.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, mental health response/attempt to locate. Patrol reported a female, 33, left three juvenile children unattended in a residence. Female was found unresponsive from a pill overdose at Bond Lake Park and taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital for evaluation/treatment. Female, 37, also listed in the call. Child Protective Services notified.

•700 block of Center Street, criminal mischief complaint. Male, 56, reported finding graffiti on a wall. Investigation to continue.

•4500 block of Washington Drive, larceny. Statement taken from a female, 24, regarding a male suspect, 36. Incident reportedly occurred within the past 30 days. Report filed.

•5000 block of Susies Lane, domestic. Statement taken from a female, 23, regarding two male suspects, ages 55 and 35, who were both placed under arrest. Male, 55, charged with harassment, second-degree; and male, 35, charged with assault, third-degree. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court, bail set at $500/$1,000 for each suspect and both remanded to custody of NCSO. Report filed.

Saturday, Sept. 22

•800 block of Center Street, EMS response. Intoxicated male at a bar/restaurant. Lewiston No. Volunteer Fire Co. on location.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, unwanted party. Male left prior to patrol's arrival.

•600 block of Oxbow Lane, EMS response. Male became alert and signed off with Lewiston No. 1 EMS.

•1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Female, 17, arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation. Suspect issued uniform traffic tickets to Lewiston Town Court and remanded to custody of State Police on outstanding warrants. Vehicle secured; report filed.

•Hyde Park and Lewiston roads, two-car accident-arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 23, listed as driver No. 1 for driving while intoxicated. Suspect taken for State Police substation Niagara; blood alcohol content testing refused. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court, bail of $500 assigned and suspect remanded to Niagara County Jail. LPD K-9 unit on location for narcotics search of vehicle. No information on driver No. 2. Report filed.

•North Fourth and Onondaga streets, hit-run accident. Statement taken from driver No. 1; driver No. 2 left scene. Report filed.

•5800 block of Pearl Street, Sanborn, domestic. Report taken by State Police.

Sunday, Sept. 23

•Niagara University, Seton hall, intoxicated female. Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. EMS on scene.

•900 block of Hillside Drive, suspicious person. Caller reported intoxicated juveniles, lost, going door to door. Subjects GOA.

•4600 block of Curtis Court, follow-up. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 30, from a previous incident. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•LPD office, follow-up. Investigation continuing from a previous unspecified incident.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Female, 58, arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation, third. Driver released on appearance tickets to Lewiston Town Court; vehicle towed. Report filed.

•3600 block of Lower River Road, assist. LPD on location with Youngstown Police Department for a driving while intoxicated arrest. No further details.
