Bills running back Fred Jackson said he will definitely play against the New England Patriots this Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium. He made that comment Monday night to co-host Bob Koshinski live on WBBZ-TV's "The Fred Jackson Show" at the Eastern Hills Mall studio.

"Unless something completely unexpected happens, I will be ready to go Sunday," Jackson said.

The Bills team captain said he will wear a brace, something he's not real happy about, but he will be on the field in the biggest home game of the young season.

Jackson's guest was running mate C.J. Spiller. The rising star said the shoulder injury he sustained in the first quarter of the Cleveland Browns game will not keep him out long, and it's not out of the realm of possibility that he could suit up Sunday.

"It is all a matter of how much pain I may be able to take," Spiller said.

Co-host Bob Koshinski has more on his website, www.allsportswny.com.

Watch "The Fred Jackson Show" on WBBZ-TV live on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.wbbz.tv.
