The following activity occurred Monday, Aug. 27, to Friday, Sept. 7, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 251 response calls during this period.

Monday, Aug. 27

•5800 block of Griffin Street, criminal mischief. Female, 58, reported mailbox damage. Two responses by patrol.

•EM-Star, Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center, intoxicated male. Male, 58, listed; no problems reported.

•700 block of Cayuga Street, road flooded. Village DPW notified.

•Location not listed; domestic, mental health response/check welfare. Male, 61, listed as a suspect and a female, 59, listed as a victim. Self-inflicted stab wound to chest reported; subject taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on a mental health response.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

•Saunders Settlement Road, reckless driver complaint. Patrol checked area; vehicle gone on arrival.

•400 block of 24th Street, Niagara Falls, warrant execution. Male, 25, placed under arrest. Bail of $1,500/$3,000 assigned.

•400 block of Aberdeen Road, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a male, 52; suspect unknown.

•1400 block of Ridge Road, fight. Both parties left with their parents and advised not to return.

•1700 block of Ridge Road, landlord-tenant dispute. Both parties advised; all OK.

•Locations on Niagara Street; South Eighth Street; Cayuga Street; South Fourth and Tuscarora streets; and the 700 block of Center Street, Alcohol Beverage Control violations. Patrol reports the following arrests for open container violations: a male, 21; a female, 26; a female, 21; a male, 32; a male, 22; a male, 30; a male, 21; a male, 29; a male, 21; a male, 22; a male, 22; and a male, 22. Appearance tickets for Lewiston Town Court issued to all violators. Reports filed.

•4600 block of Creek Road, larceny complaint. Statement taken from a male, 56. Female, 55, listed as a suspect. No report.

•900 block of Center Street, check situation. Patrol spoke with a male, 27, regarding the possible larceny of pallets. Resolved by patrol.

•800 block of Seneca Street, possible UUMV. Female driver reported her vehicle as missing. Vehicle located by patrol on Walnut Avenue in Niagara Falls, was driven home by a designated driver. Returned later to owner.

•Center Street and Portage Road, reckless driver complaint. Resolved by patrol.

•Lewiston Road, southbound, reckless driver complaint. Plate number logged; patrol notified Niagara Falls Police.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

•900 block of Center Street. K-9 search. Appearance ticket issued; no further details.

•2300 block of Upper Mountain Road, hit-run. Statement taken from a male, 78; male, 18, listed as a suspect. Investigation to continue; charges pending.

•Bond Lake, suspected vehicle. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 17, for unlawful possession of marijuana. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•500 block of Center Street, larceny. Female, 70, stated she believes someone stole her sunglasses during the Jazz Festival on Saturday. Report filed.

•Green Road, suspected vehicle. "Mr. Trash" vehicle located by patrol. Patrol reported it was involved in illegal dumping several weeks earlier.

•Swann Road, vehicle-traffic stop. Unidentified subject pulled over for being an unlicensed driver. Uniform traffic tickets issued to Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle towed; report filed.

•Nash Road, bench warrant execution. Male, 40, placed under arrest; charge(s) not specified. Arraignment at Town of Niagara Court and suspect released on his recognizance.

Thursday, Aug. 30

•Grove Street, unwanted party. Patrol spoke with a female, 45; male, 31, listed as a person involved.

•Upper Mountain Road, westbound, reckless driver. Area checked for a red vehicle with negative results.

•5100 block of Country Club Trail, suspected vehicle. Patrol reports complainant observed two black males using a video camera to record area residences. Suspect vehicle described as an older model Buick, white with dealer plates.

•900 block of Balmer Road, domestic. One male placed under arrest on a charge of child endangerment/harassment.

•4000 block of Lower River Road, larceny. Statement taken from a male; suspect unknown. No further details; report filed.

Friday, Aug. 31

•900 block of Center Street, larceny. Supermarket reported the suspect paid for drinks and was not charged.

•Saunders Settlement and Chew roads, separate vehicle/traffic stops. Patrol reported a male, 28, and a female, 36, were both charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in separate stops. Female also charged with operating/permitting operation without insurance. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Reports filed.

•Pletcher Road, vehicle/traffic stop-DWI arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 24, for driving while intoxicated. Suspect released on uniform traffic tickets to Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle secured. Report filed.

Saturday, Sept. 1

•4800 block of Ridge View Drive, hit-run. Patrol reports one vehicle struck; U.S. Border Patrol located other vehicle on I-190 southbound. Driver, a male, 15, charged with leaving the scene and other traffic charges; male passenger, 17, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Vehicle secured; reports filed.

•I-190 southbound, rolling domestic in a pickup. Patrol unable to locate.

•Shenk Road, assist/mental health response. Male subject reported bleeding from the wrists.

•Niagara Falls locations, assist other agency, two calls. LPD requested to assist Niagara Falls Police with a fight of 50 people at the City Market; subjects gone on patrol's arrival. Also, a call involving 200 people in the street on 18th Street and Niagara Avenue. Group dispersed by multiple agencies without incident.

•2600 block of Lower Mountain Road, neighbor problem. Shots fired too close to a house. Both parties interviewed.

•Unspecified location, arrest. Female, 28, arraigned at Town of Niagara Count and released on her own recognizance.

•300 block of South Seventh Street, suspicious person. Male, 30, identified and brought home by a friend.

•100 block of Elliott Drive, juvenile problem. Underage drinking complaint unfounded.

•200 block of Tuscarora Street, disturbing the peace. Call handled by patrol.

•700 block of Tuscarora Street, fireworks complaint. Female, 43, reported damage to numerous vehicles in parking lot from fireworks debris.

Sunday, Sept. 2

•500 block of Second Street, Youngstown, mental health response. Patrol assisted Youngstown Police on a call of a male, possibly with a gun. Taser deployed; report filed.

•Niagara University, intoxicated person. Female, 20, taken by Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's. Report filed.

•2300 block of Upper Mountain Road, burglary. Money taken from a safe. Investigation to continue.

•600 block of Mohawk Street, civil matter. Patrol spoke with a female complainant, 45, and a male, 49. Complainant advised it was a civil matter.

•Garlow Road, on top of New York Power Authority reservoir, reckless driver. Patrol reported the arrest of a male, 24, for driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation, alcohol related, and aggravated unlicensed operation, first. Patrol also reported the arrests of a female, 18, a male, 44, and a male, 18, on trespass charges; appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Driver refused breath testing request; arraignment held at Lewiston Town Court, bail assigned of $500/$1,000 and driver remanded to Niagara County Jail. Report filed.

Monday, Sept. 3

•600 block of Mohawk Street, check situation. State Police on location; Domestic Incident Report filed.

•NU, intoxicated male. Male, 25, taken by Upper Mountain VFC to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's.

•3800 block of Lower River Road, male lying on the ground. Patrol evaluated; all OK.

•1700 block of Ridge Road, larceny. Two females, ages 52 and 32, listed as a victim and person involved. Female, 23, listed as a suspect. Investigation to continue. Report filed.

•100 block of South Water Street, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a female, 24, who reported unknown persons attempted to break into a vehicle with California registration. Patrol reviewed all footage and determined that the criminal mischief incident occurred at a different location.

•Lower Niagara River, boat in distress. Boat towed back to shore by Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co.

•Saunders Settlement and Tuscarora roads, vehicle/traffic stop. Female, 21, placed under arrest for aggravated unlicensed operation, third. Driver released on uniform traffic tickets to Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Ridge and Creek roads, vehicle/traffic stop. Unidentified driver placed under arrest for operation while the registration is suspended/revoked. Driver released on appearance tickets to Lewiston Town Court and vehicle towed.

•NU campus, EMS response. Male, 17, reported overdosed and taken by Upper Mountain VFC to Mount St. Mary's EM-Star.

•2500 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, harassment. Patrol assisted Niagara County Sheriff's Office on an attempt to locate of a male. Suspect GOA.

Tuesday, Sept. 4

•700 block of Ridge Road, attempt to locate. Patrol reported negative results on its attempt to locate a female.

•South Fourth and Tuscarora streets, DWI checkpoint, K9 Unit narcotics search. Patrol reported assisting State Police on the positive alert of a male, 43, who was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

400 block of North Second Street, vehicle/traffic stop, DWI arrest. Male, 53, arrested for driving while intoxicated. Uniform traffic tickets for Lewiston Town Court issued and driver released. Vehicle towed. Report filed.

•Portage Road, unwanted party at a motel. Subjects left without incident.

Wednesday, Sept. 5

•4600 block of Porter-Center Road, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a female, 50. Suspect unknown.

•5700 block of Lewiston Road, suspicious person. Subject in a white Cobalt taking pictures. Vehicle GOA.

•Elem and Buffalo streets, Sanborn, vehicle/traffic stop. Female, 26, pulled over for operation while registration is suspended/revoked. Uniform traffic ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•4000 block of Calkins Road, domestic. Female, 47, listed as a victim and male, 49, listed as a suspect. Male placed under arrest on a charge of harassment, second. Charges filed.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, violation of order of protection. Female, 58, listed as a victim and male, 51, listed as a suspect. Report filed.

•Indian Hill Road, shooter complaint. Area around a gas/convenience business checked with negative results.

Thursday, Sept. 6

•5300 block of Chew Road, property dispute. Statement taken from a female complainant, 33, regarding a male, 35, listed as a suspect. Male placed under arrest on the following charges: criminal impersonation, second; resisting arrest; and disorderly conduct. Suspect also found to be an illegal alien from Mexico. Detainer placed on suspect. Report filed.

•Saunders Settlement and Kline roads, arrest. LPD on location with NCSO and New York State Police for the arrest of a male, 17, on unlawful possession of marijuana charges. Suspect issued appearance ticket to Lewiston Town Court and released on his own recognizance.

•2800 block of Ridge Road, property dispute. Patrol spoke with a male, 39. Subject reported as intoxicated and advised by patrol not to remove any property from the residence.

Friday, Sept. 7

•4000 block of Creek Road, follow-up. Patrol reported the arrest of a female, 23, on a charge of grand larceny, second. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court, bail of $2,500/$5,000 assigned and suspect remanded to custody of NCSO.

•900 block of Upper Mountain Road, neighbor problem. Patrol advised elderly parties involved to cease all contact.

•700 block of The Circle, attempted computer fraud. Statement taken from a female, 74. Patrol advised to ignore phone calls.
