About

The Western New York Independent Living family of agencies is a catalyst for systems and individual change, enhancing the quality of life for persons with disabilities, while respecting diversity, and promoting choices and alternatives for independent living in our societies. Since 1982 the center's services have expanded and evolved in order to meet its goal of full partnership with people with disabilities in this community. It now offers programs in several areas of concern: individual services, programs for consumers with developmental disabilities, mental health services, support services and community services.

The family of agencies includes The Independent Living Center, OAHIIO Native American Services, Mental Health PEER Connection, Independent Living of Niagara County, and Independent Living of Genesee Region.
