It's being called Wheatfield's "Off the Beaten Path" Farmers & Specialty Items Community Market, tucked into the parking lot at Town Hall, 2800 Church Road.
The market is open every Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. and offers for sale plenty of homegrown produce, homemade pierogi, baked goods, cheese, honey, popcorn, wine, dog treats, crafts and more.
Plus, there are special attractions. On Sept. 12 and Oct. 17, "Magic At the Market" will run from 4 to 6 p.m., featuring magic and balloon art by Rob and Carol Allen. On Sept. 19, Barb Vollick will be doing "Karaoke at the Market." On Oct. 3, it will be Oktoberfest, with German music, food and entertainment.
The Wheatfield Farmers Market held a free "Taste of Wheatfield" drawing on Aug. 29. Entry forms were included in the market's advertisement in the Tribune.
