eBay workshops offered by Niagara Small Business Development Center

The Niagara Small Business Development Center at Niagara County Community College, in conjunction with the Pathstone Corporation, the Workforce Literacy Training Program, the Lockport Public Library and Lockport Main Street, Inc., are presenting two workshops on using eBay for business.

The Basics of Selling on eBay will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8.

Learn how to open a seller account, improve existing listings, open and use PayPal, create and monitor listings, set pricing and complete transactions.

Building Your Business on eBay will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. Participants will learn how to start and/or grow an eBay-based business, create compelling listings, track your competition, use eBay listing tools, choose the right listing format and market your business on eBay, as well as answer the question "Is an eBay Store the Right Answer for You?"

Both courses will be held at the Lockport Public Library, 23 East Ave. The cost is $20 per class or $35 for both, including materials. Knowledge of eBay and eBay registration are helpful, but not required. Seating is limited. Call 716-434-3815 to register.
