This week's "Fridays on Old Falls" concert series finale is being extended to feature two Western New York bands, Studio 54 and Lakeside Blues Band, on Friday, Aug. 31, on Old Falls Street, USA's, middle block. Each will present full-length three-hour shows throughout the evening, beginning at 4:30 p.m. and ending at 11 p.m.
The free live music series is presented by the Niagara Fine Arts Initiative and the City of Niagara Falls, and is sponsored by Legends Bar & Grill.
"We were happy to be able to reschedule the local dance band Studio 54, a Western New York favorite whose original concert date was postponed due to the threat of inclement weather," said Global Spectrum's Ryan Coate, general manager of Old Falls Street, USA, and the Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls. "This double headlining concert is a wonderful way to round out the 'Fridays on Old Falls' series for 2012."
Studio 54 will open the evening at 4:30 p.m. Lakeside Blues Band will perform from 8 to 11 p.m.
