Niagara University dean named to finance committee at Memorial Medical Center

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has appointed Shawn P. Daly, Ph.D., P.E., to serve on its finance committee.

Daly, the dean of the College of Business Administration at Niagara University, is a former dean of the H-E-B School of Business and Administration at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. He earned a doctorate in international business from Temple University and holds master's degrees from Loyola University, Villanova University and Virginia Tech.

The winner of two Fulbright scholarships, Daly has lectured extensively on medical tourism, business-to-business marketing and business education.

The Memorial Medical Center finance committee is appointed by the board of trustees to monitor financial performance and reporting. The committee makes recommendations to the board, which will protect and enhance financial viability and the community's investment in the medical center.
