Lewiston Lions go green by donating trees

Lions International President Wing-Kum Tam of Hong Kong set a goal last July for the 1.4 million Lions worldwide to plant one million trees. This goal has been achieved with more than eight million trees planted thus far.

Helping to achieve this goal locally are, from left, Andrew Meyers, Lewiston Parks Department employee; Town of Lewiston Supervisor Steve Reiter; Lewiston Lions Club members Lonny Gibbs, Mike Marra (also a town councilman), President Millie Gibbs and Past President Ron Craft.
