Hard Rock Café Niagara Falls, USA, announces the "Hard Rock Rocks" Old Falls Street, USA, summer concert series lineup with musical acts including KC and the Sunshine Band, Finger Eleven and The Guess Who.
The six-week summer concert series kicks off Saturday, July 7, and features headlining and local musical acts, street performances, guitar raffles, food and beverage concessions.
The 2012 "Hard Rock Rocks" summer concert series marks the fifth year Niagara Falls locals and city guests have celebrated summer with free, live music in downtown Niagara Falls.
"Hard Rock has enjoyed bringing the community together with its outdoor summer concert series on Old Falls Street for the past four summers," said Dominic Verni, general manager of Hard Rock Café Niagara Falls, USA. "We look forward to rocking Niagara Falls all summer long."
"We are proud to partner with Hard Rock Café for 'Hard Rock Rocks' Old Falls Street, USA, once again this year, while continuing to host the series free of charge for thousands of music enthusiasts in Western New York, Southern Ontario and beyond," said Global Spectrum's Ryan Coate, general manager of Old Falls Street, USA, and the Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls. "This series is a perfect complement to Old Falls Street, USA's, daily and weekly activities and showcases our spectacular outdoor venue and downtown Niagara Falls, N.Y., area in world-class fashion."
The series supports local charity the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center - the largest multi-arts center in upstate New York. The NACC is home to more than 75 artists and artist groups, more than 60 artist studios, two galleries and two theaters. The NACC continues to grow as an education center offering adult and children classes to the public. A headliner-autographed guitar will be raffled off each week of the series, with proceeds directly benefitting the NACC.
Hard Rock Rocks is presented in partnership with the City of Niagara Falls, Old Falls Street/Global Spectrum; Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, The Niagara Gazette, 97 Rock and Rock Radio 103.3 The Edge.
