Two talented Grand Island-native musicians will open for major artists performing in the Niagara County area in coming weeks.

David Nolf, a singer/songwriter who also performs with his popular local band, The David Nolf Band, will open as a solo artist for celebrated recording artists Huey Lewis & The News. The performance takes place July 3 at 6:30 p.m. as part of Artpark's "Tuesday in the Park" concert series.

Tickets cost $5 in advance and $10 the week of the concert. They can be purchased at www.tickets.com, the Artpark Box Office at 450 S. Fourth St., Lewiston, or by calling 1-716-754-4375 or 1-888-223-6000.

The David Nolf Band recently performed in front of 2,000 people opening for Marianas Trench at The Rapids Theater. The band has been touring around with its newly released EP, "The Making Of," which can be found online at iTunes, Rhapsody and Spotify.
