Assemblyman John Ceretto, R-I-Lewiston, stepped up Monday for local Niagara residents by sponsoring Assembly bill 10576, which ensures the residents of Cambria will have access to the most qualified building inspector. The measure also puts the focus on empowering local communities and producing solutions tailored to local needs.

"Cambria asked for more control over issues like this, and our local communities in Niagara County deserve to have access to the best qualified workers," Ceretto said. "That's why I sponsored legislation to ensure Cambria will be able to hire the best candidate for building inspector from any of the neighboring communities. This is a uniquely specialized position, and having the best person on the job is essential."
