The Niagara USA Chamber will host a mandate relief forum on Tuesday, June 12, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the New York Power Authority's Power Vista, 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston.
This event will feature a panel comprised of Brian Sampson, executive director of Unshackle Upstate; Heather Briccetti, president and CEO of the Business Council of NYS; Tom Stebbins, executive director of Lawsuit Reform Alliance of NYS; and Kenneth Adams, president and CEO of Empire State Development. They will discuss the business climate in New York and strategies to relieve the burden on businesses.
"This panel represents some of the biggest business advocacy organizations in New York state, and this will give business owners and taxpayers a chance to interact, to ask questions, and give input on where Niagara County and the state is headed," said Kory Schuler, director of government affairs for the Niagara USA Chamber.
