The Stella Niagara community is preparing for the 10 Mile Sidewalk and Garage Sale by cleaning out the attic. Years of accumulated furniture from the Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity and the school is being sorted and tagged for sale on Saturday, June 2, and Sunday, June 3. Proceeds from the sale will directly benefit Stella Niagara Education Park.
Stella Niagara will have its own items in the maintenance garage, located toward the back of the school. Sale times are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. People associated with the Stella community will have tables of personal belongings set up around the bus loop.
Stella seventh-graders will sell hot dogs and drinks to raise money for their class trip. Those interested in the school may take a tour on Sunday. Tour times are 1 and 3 p.m.
