23rd annual C.A.S.E. conference in May

The Coalition of Agencies in Service to the Elderly will hold its annual Spring Conference from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at the American Legion Post 1451 located at 6525 Ward Road, Sanborn.

C.A.S.E. is a group of agencies, organizations, and individuals whose mission is to provide community resource education and networking opportunities to enhance services for the aging in Niagara County.

The conference for community service providers and senior agencies regarding senior housing options is titled, "Should I Stay or Should I Go." The day will include panel discussions on the types of housing available, reverse mortgages, senior centers, senior nutrition, at-home care, where to turn for help with paperwork for health care, and a vendor fair.

Lunch will be provided. Greg Olsen, the state director of the Office for Aging, will be the luncheon speaker, bringing to light what is upcoming in Albany for seniors and how it will affect us all.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the fee for this event is $15, which includes continental breakfast, boxed lunch and resource fair. Also featured will be networking booths, displays, door prizes, 50/50, and a basket raffle. Registration fee must be paid at time of registration.
