The following activity occurred Monday, April 16, to Sunday, April 22, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 106 responses during this period.

Monday, April 16

•100 block of S. Eighth Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a 33-year-old female. Driver charged with operation while registration or privilege is suspended/revoked. Driver released on uniform traffic tickets to Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle towed; report filed.

•5200 block of Hewitt Parkway, fraud. Patrol spoke with a female who reported receiving a letter from Reader's Digest with a check for $2,800. LPD reports multiple claims of fraud from individuals all over the U.S. regarding the same letter. Report filed.

•4800 block of Townline Road, domestic. Patrol checked area and was unable to locate a male/female reported walking. Patrol cleared.

•5900 block of Hyde Park Boulevard, neighbor problem. Statement taken from a 39-year-old female regarding a 55-year-old female listed as a person involved. Subject advised to stay off the complainant's property. Subject also advised to leave the property stakes alone. Patrol cleared.

•900 block of Upper Mountain Road, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 36-year-old female. Investigation to continue.

•Military and Upper Mountain roads, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from the drivers; both vehicles towed. Report filed.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, domestic. Statement taken from a 26-year-old female regarding a 28-year-old male. Patrol reported charges are pending.

•LPD office, arrests. Patrol reported the arrest of two juveniles from an earlier incident. Paperwork issued for Niagara County Family Court. Report filed.

•Lewiston Town Court, follow-up. Patrol reported the arrest of a 28-year-old male from the Mount Hope Road domestic. Full stay away order issued by Lewiston Town Court and suspect released on his own recognizance. Report filed.

Tuesday, April 17

•1000 block of Ridge Road, attempted burglary. Statement taken from a 48-year-old female; suspect unknown. NCSO K-9 unit on location for track of a male wearing white. Subject reported as checking area houses for unlocked front doors.

•900 block of Ridge Road, suspicious vehicle/possible suspect from above call. Patrol listed a 35-year-old black male and a 50-year-old white male as persons involved. Patrol reported the arrest of a 25-year-old female for operation while the license or privilege is suspended or revoked; aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana. Vehicle towed.

•Black Nose Spring Road, suspicious vehicle (two responses). No problems found on both calls.

•2200 block of Ridge Road, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers; no injuries and both vehicles secured. Report filed.

•5100 block of Walmore Road, domestic/missing person. Statement taken from a 32-year-old female regarding a female, age 15 years old. Subject later returned home.

Wednesday, April 18

•4700 block of Liberty Avenue, warrant execution. Patrol reported negative results on location of a 23-year-old male. Subject reported out of state in South Carolina.

•700 block of Scovell Drive, officer requested. Statement taken from a 39-year-old female; suspect unknown.

•1900 block of Mount Hope Road, structure fire. Patrol reported the structure as a total loss. Investigation to continue.

•5900 block of Hewitt Drive, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a 50-year-old male regarding a 41-year-old female listed as a suspect. No report or charges.

•Saunders Settlement and Walmore roads, two-vehicle hit-run accident. Statements taken from both drivers. Patrol reported uniform traffic tickets (unspecified) issued to a 27-year-old male.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, harassment (two responses). Statement taken from a 25-year-old female regarding a 29-year-old female listed as a suspect. Suspect reported as GOA; complainant pursuing charges. Report filed.

•900 block of James Drive, mental health response. Statement taken from a 58-year-old male regarding a 25-year-old female listed as a suspect. Female taken by Rural Metro to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Thursday, April 19

•Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop-arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 49-year-old male on unspecified traffic infractions and unauthorized possession of marijuana. Suspect released on uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket for Lewiston Town Court. K-9 search conducted of vehicle. Report filed.

•Ridge Road and Meadow Drive, suspicious male on a bicycle. No problems found.

•Lewiston Queenston bridge, K-9 search requested by U.S. Border Patrol Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Search conducted on a tractor-trailer.

•Garlow and Upper Mountain roads, suspicious vehicle. Patrol spoke with a 43-year-old male. Investigation to continue.

•LPD office, follow-up. Patrol reported the arrest of a 29-year-old female stemming from a harassment complaint at a Saunders Settlement Road gas/convenience business. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Bond Lake Park, boat with motor in water. Patrol advised to remove.

•1800 block of Ridge Road, check welfare. Patrol spoke with both parties and reports all OK.

•LPD office, follow-up. Patrol reports issuing uniform traffic tickets to a driver from an earlier vehicle in a ditch call. Vehicle released.

•4400 block of Dickersonville Road, shooter complaint. Patrol checked area with negative results.

•800 block of Cayuga Street, officer requested. All OK.

Friday, April 20

•River Road and Dutton Drive, assist. LPD on location with NCSO for a suspicious person call. All OK.

•500 block of Cayuga Street, criminal mischief. Resident reported two broken windows over the last two weeks.

•Mount Hope Road, stolen vehicle recovery. Patrol assisted NCSO.

•Locations on the 1300 block of Upper Mountain Road and on the 4900 block of Indian Hill Road, separate two vehicle accidents. Statements taken from the drivers. No injury/tow on first response and two drivers taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center and vehicles towed on second. Reports filed.

•5900 block of Garlow Road, traffic problem. Resident states numerous vehicles are running stop sign. Frequent patrols requested.

•Fifth and Center streets, juvenile problem. Caller stated a group of juveniles are "on drugs." Patrol checked; all OK.

Saturday, April 21

•Robert Moses Parkway, hit-run accident. Statement taken from driver No. 2; driver No. 1 left scene. Report filed.

•RMP southbound, vehicle traffic stop. Patrol reports the arrest of a 26-year-old female; charge(s) not specified. Plates removed and vehicle towed.

•Balmer Road, assist. LPD on location with NCSO on reported explosion at the Army base.

•5200 block of Chew Road, custody problem. Statement taken from a 39-year-old female regarding a female who left a child unattended in a church. Report filed.

•Saunders Settlement and Shawnee roads, assist. LPD on location with NCSO and Rural Metro for a mental health response; patient out of control.

•100 block of North Fourth Street, check welfare. Children dropped off at wrong birthday party. Relative contacted for pickup.

•North Ninth and Center streets, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from drivers; report filed.

Sunday, April 22

•800 block of Center Street, loud music at a bar/restaurant. Patrol advised to turn down.

Niagara University, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a 19-year-old female regarding an 18-year-old male who was posting derogatory statements on Twitter. Suspect advised to stop.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, animal problem. Female caller reported a large exotic cat standing three feet high was in her backyard. Patrol reported all OK.

•5900 block of Miller Road, general, no crime. Caller reported text messages from an unknown number.

•4400 block of Lower River Road, Stella Niagara, domestic. Patrol listed a 28-year-old female as a victim and a 28-year-old male as a suspect. Suspect GOA. Report only.

•4500 block of Washington Drive, domestic. Patrol listed a 33-year-old female as a victim and a 30-year-old male as a suspect. Male left for the night; all OK.

•5300 block of Military Road, check welfare. Statement taken from a 39-year-old male regarding a 31-year-old female. Patrol reported all OK; the female left with her mother.

•4900 block of Military Road, fight at a gas/convenience business. Patrol reported two males in custody by Town of Niagara Police Department. All OK.
