The Town of Niagara will hold a special Town Board work session at 6 p.m. Monday, April 30, at Town Hall, 7105 Lockport Road.

Supervisor Steve Richards said the board will review the new bids received for the community center project at Veterans Memorial Park on Lockport Road. Previous bids came in higher than expected, and the board decided to have the project repackaged and rebid.

Richards said no decision will be made Monday. The board is expected to vote on the project at its regular May 15 meeting after looking at the bids for the community center itself and other possible amenities.

"We want to see if it's an affordable project," he said.
