Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara hosts Niagara Floral Center and Greenhouse sale

The Niagara Floral Center and Greenhouse at Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara announces the first sale of 2012 -- A Mother's Day floral sale. All orders are due Friday, April 27. (Deadline extended for Niagara Frontier Publications readers!)

Proceeds from all sales benefit the Niagara Floral Center and Greenhouse, which offers training and horticulture therapy to people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. These individuals nurture the plants and create the arrangements for sale.

Items for sale:    

  • Violets in decorative planters for $12.99
  • "Basket of Love" features assorted fresh flowers in a basket for $25 and $30
  • "Lasting Beauty" planter features greenery and fresh flowers for $20 and $25
  • Wrapped mixed cut flowers for $12
  • New: Herb garden for $30
  • New: Scotts Osmocote potting soil (1.5 cu.ft. bag) for $10 (receive a coupon for $5 mail-in rebate from Scotts)
  • Bonus: Receive a four-pack of plantable basil with any pick-up orders of $25 or more in floral products for Mother's Day.

PICKUP 

Pickup items at The Niagara Floral Center and Greenhouse, 2510 Niagara Falls Blvd., Wheatfield, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 4; and from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 5; or at the agency's Lockport site, 107 Heath St., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, May 4.
