Says Ceretto is the 'partner in Albany I need'

Today, New York State Sen. George Maziarz, R-C-I-Newfane, announced his endorsement of John D. Ceretto, R-I-Lewiston, for re-election in the newly formed 145th Assembly District. Ceretto currently represents the 138th Assembly District in Niagara County.

"John Ceretto is an honest, hardworking man," Maziarz said. "In the time he has been in the Assembly, John has been a trusted partner in moving this region forward. I am confident that the voters of the 145th will re-elect John, and I look forward to the continued opportunity to collaborate on issues, as we both passionately represent our districts."

"We have made great strides in the almost 16 months he has been in office. We are bringing Nik Wallenda to Niagara Falls, we are rebuilding Niagara Falls State Park, we are working to ensure our region is represented on the New York Power Authority board of trustees and we are working to ensure the working men and women in our area see more of their paychecks," Maziarz said. "John Ceretto has played a big role in this turnaround and he deserves another term."

The newly formed 145th Assembly District includes the towns of Cambria, Grand Island, Lewiston, Niagara, Wheatfield, the City of Niagara Falls and portions of the City of North Tonawanda.
