Brennan's Irish Pub in Youngstown will host a celebrity bartender fundraiser to benefit the Youngstown Recreation Department and Nancy Price Scholarship at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 31. A professional Rodney Dangerfield impersonator will be one of the features of the night as well as the local village "celebrities" serving as bartenders. Participants include Jodee Riordan, Duffy Johnston, Cheryl Herman, Tracy Paonessa, Deputy Mayor Tim Adamson, Recreation Director Kim Cudmore, and Mickey and Steven Suitor.

The evening includes drink and food specials, a basket auction, designs by Katy Reese, various musicians and activities with an entry/donation of $5 at the door. The entry fee, a percentage of all food and beverages and also the basket sales will go directly to the Nancy Price Scholarship Fund.

Price was the director of Youngstown Recreation for 20 years. She passed away of cancer after a long-spirited battle on Dec. 25, 1994. Price, literally, put Youngstown recreation on the map. She was tireless in all aspects of her work with youth.

Memorial scholarships are awarded annually to deserving students who have participated in the Youngstown Recreation Program, have excelled in their academic programs, and who have given back to their community in the form of volunteer work.

Brennan's Irish Pub is located at 418 Main St., in the Village of Youngstown. For more information on this event, contact Miss Jane at Brennan's Irish Pub at 745-9938.
