Niagara Hospice officials report that several Niagara County residents have notified them in the last month and this week of fundraising solicitors who claim they are raising funds for Hospice. Tricia Degan, director of marketing and public relations, stated: "Niagara Hospice is not involved in any fundraising phone solicitations to residents. Our fundraising is traditionally done by mail and we caution people to be wary of anyone calling them to request a donation commitment."
Degan asks that anyone wishing to support hospice services in Niagara County to visit www.NiagaraHospice.org or call Niagara Hospice at 439-4417.
