Lockport Community Television has announced its spring training schedule. Starting with a free orientation session on Tuesday, March 20, at 7 p.m. at the studios, 293 Niagara St., Lockport, students will learn the steps needed to produce their own cable television program.
Classes will commence the following week and teach students to use LCTV's equipment and facilities. Community programming airs on the local Time-Warner cable system Channel 20.
Classes will focus on location shooting and editing as well as television studio operations. LCTV also has some new opportunities for non-residents of Lockport to allow for full facility access, which is new as of fall 2011.
