Lewiston Choraleers will present Easter cantata at six area churches

The Lewiston Choraleers will present an Easter cantata, "The Rose of Calvary," by Joseph Martin, at six area churches on March 31, April 1, 6, 7 and 15.

The specific dates, times and sites of the performances are as follows:

Saturday, March 31:

2 p.m., First Presbyterian Church (Old Stone Church), 505 Cayuga St., Lewiston.

7 p.m., St. John de LaSalle Church, 8477 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls.

Sunday, April 1:

2 p.m., St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 140 Rainbow Blvd., Niagara Falls.

Friday, April 6: 

7 p.m., St. James United Methodist Church, 4661 Porter Road, Niagara Falls.

Saturday, April 7:

2 p.m., Messiah Lutheran Church, 915 Oneida St., Lewiston,

Sunday, April 15:

2 p.m., Niagara University Alumni Chapel, Niagara University.

The 60-member community chorus will be led by its musical director, Donald Shrimpton, and accompanied by Lynda Williams. All performances are open to the public. A free will offering will be taken.
