The Village of Lewiston Board of Trustees presented a framed copy of Capt. James Van Cleve's portrait of Lewiston to Mount St. Mary's Hospital on Monday. Mayor Terry Collesano said the donation was made in honor of Marnie Eydt, the late wife of Trustee Vic Eydt.

"This is quite a surprise for me," Eydt said. "I appreciate it."

On hand to accept the painting, hospital COO Gary Tucker and Mount St. Mary's Foundation Chairwoman Sister Margaret Tulle said the drawing would be prominently displayed.

Mount St. Mary's is hosting events in February as part of American Heart Month.
