The following activity occurred Sunday, Jan. 1, to Saturday, Jan. 28 as reported by the Youngstown Police Department. YPD reported 100 entries during this period.

Sunday, Jan. 1

•Locations on the 400 block of Water Street and the 400 block of Riverview drive, alarm responses. Both locations secure and calls avoidable.

Monday, Jan. 2

600 block of Lockport Street, complaint of house paint-balled. Statement taken from the property owner; report filed.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

•Addresses on the 900 block of Lower River Road, the 500 block of Westwood Avenue, 100 block of Chestnut Street and 300 block of Wingate Place, vacant house checks. All locations secure.

•Church Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 23-year-old male for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at 44 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

Friday, Jan. 6

•Main Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 46-year-old female for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at doing 43 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

Saturday, Jan. 7

•400 block of Water Street, juvenile problem. Patrol spoke with a 64-year-old female who stated she had seen three male juveniles light a fire beneath a boat earlier in the day. Area checked and debris found; no damage reported to the boat.

•Addresses on the 900 block of Lower River Road, the 500 block of Westwood Avenue, 100 block of Chestnut Street and 300 block of Wingate Place, vacant house checks. Patrol reported a lock damaged at the Wingate property and notified the owner; all other locations secure.

Sunday, Jan. 8

•Youngstown-Lockport Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 42-year-old male for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at doing 45 mph in a 35 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

Tuesday, Jan. 10

•Robert Moses Parkway northbound, reckless driver complaint. Patrol spoke with the driver; all OK.

•Route 93, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol issued a verbal warning to a female driver.

•Addresses on the 900 block of Lower River Road, the 500 block of Westwood Avenue, 100 block of Chestnut Street and 300 block of Wingate Place, vacant house checks. All locations secure.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

•90 block of Lake Street, unwanted person. Patrol spoke with a 22-year-old male who stated he did not want a 22-year-old male at his house. Patrol advised the man to leave.

Friday, Jan. 13

•Main Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover/arrest of a 34-year-old male for second degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding in zone. Driver clocked at doing 43 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic tickets issued with return date for Porter Town Court. Report filed.

Saturday, Jan. 14

•300 block of Oak Street, neighbor problem at an apartment complex. Both parties accused each other of excessive noise. Issue resolved by patrol; further issued to be directed to the landlord.

•Lockport Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 47-year-old male for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at doing 53 mph in a 35 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

•Addresses on the 900 block of Lower River Road, the 500 block of Westwood Avenue, 100 block of Chestnut Street and 300 block of Wingate Place, vacant house checks. All locations secure.

Sunday, Jan. 15

•Carrollwood Drive and Wingate Place, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of an 18-year-old female for failure to stop at a stop sign. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

•Church Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 17-year-old female for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at doing 42 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

•3400 block of East Avenue, check welfare. No problems found.

Monday, Jan. 16

•Unspecified location, assist. YPD requested to assist Lewiston Police on a panic alarm activation. Call cancelled en route.

Tuesday, Jan. 17

•Lockport Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 56-year-old male for having an expired inspection. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

•Lockport Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover/arrest of a 47-year-old male for driving a vehicle with a suspended registration and without insurance. Vehicle towed.

Wednesday, Jan. 18

•3600 block of Creek Road, house check per the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. All secure.

Saturday, Jan. 21

•Robert Moses parkway southbound, vehicle in a ditch. Vehicle towed; no injuries reported. Driver taken home.

•Falkner Park, ATV problem. Patrol located a 34-year-old male. Subject advised of multiple violations. Charges are pending if damage is found to the park. Report filed.

•Lockport Street, attempt to locate. Caller reported reckless operation on Lockport Street eastbound from Elm Street. Unable to locate.

Sunday, Jan. 22

•Main Street, structure fire in a social/pool room of a condominium complex. Youngstown, Ransomville, Lewiston No. 1 and Upper Mountain volunteer fire companies all responded. Cause under investigation. Report filed.

•300 block of Brampton Drive, criminal mischief complaint. Statement taken from a 43-year-old male who reported a 43-year-old female listed as his ex-wife came to the residence and keyed his girl friend's vehicle. Charges to be filed. Report filed.

•RMP, man walking down the road. Patrol located a 43-year-old male who said he lost his keys while hunting in the area. Male told patrol he hid a shotgun in woods and was to retrieve keys at his residence. Report filed.

•100 block of William Street, walk-up complaint of a possible physical domestic. Patrol checked the residence; no problems found, children playing.

Monday, Jan. 23

•Main and Elliott streets, vehicle/traffic stop. Warning issued to the driver.

•Fort Niagara State Park, assist. YPD on location with New York State Parks on a report of a suicidal male, whereabouts unknown and a vehicle left in the lot. Negative results on search; State Parks handling incident.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

•Lower River Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover of a 41-year-old male for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at doing 44 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued.

•Elm Street and Northfield Drive, assist. YPD on location with NCSO for an arrest of an unidentified male. Charges include second degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unauthorized possession of marijuana. No further details.

•400 block of Northfield Drive, aggravated harassment. Statements taken from a 46-year-old female and a 19-year-old female regarding unwanted phone calls and Facebook messages received from a male suspect. Investigation to continue.

•Location not specified, arrest. Patrol on follow-up to a Jan. 21 ATV complaint reported the arrest of a male, age 34,on violations of village code. Appearance ticket issued for Porter Town Court. Report filed.

Friday, Jan. 27

•Mary Lane area, suspicious vehicle. Caller reported a vehicle seen driving in and out of multiple driveways. No description given.

Saturday, Jan. 28

•Addresses on the 900 block of Lower River Road, the 500 block of Westwood Avenue, 100 block of Chestnut Street and 300 block of Wingate Place, vacant house checks. All locations secure.
