ABC will donate $1, up to $100,000, to Points of Light for every personal commitment posted online

Do you want to make time to play outside with your kids, help out in your local neighborhood or simply vow to keep a positive attitude? Join ABC's new daily talk show, "The Revolution," as it partners with Points of Light, the nation's largest volunteer network, to mobilize viewers to create a community of change with an initiative called "The Revolution Wall."

By changing their lives, viewers will help to change the lives of others, as "The Revolution Wall" encourages fans of the talk show to upload their photo and post their personal revolution. For every commitment to a personal revolution, ABC will make a donation to help revolutionize another person's life, creating an active community inspiring change among the show's viewers. To join "The Revolution Wall," visit www.abc.com/therevolution or "The Revolution" Facebook page (www.facebook.com/therevolutiononabc). ABC has committed to donate $1 to Points of Light for every viewer who posts a personal commitment to "The Revolution Wall," up to $100,000 or until Feb. 29.

Points of Light helps put people at the center of transforming their communities. People drive change, and Points of Light helps people get involved in solving some of the world's greatest challenges. "The Revolution's" participation with Points of Light is focused on creating a community of positive change among viewers to help inspire each other. All posted submissions will be a part of "The Revolution Wall," which will be featured on the broadcast.

JD Roth, executive producer of "The Revolution," said: "We created 'The Revolution' to illustrate to women, men and families how small changes can have hugely positive effects on the quality of life, so we couldn't be more gratified than to see that message reflected in our partnership with Points of Light. When people ban together in the spirit of commitment and change, entire communities can be transformed as well. We're excited to see the stories of our viewers' personal Revolutions, and proud that they can be used to help others through Points of Light."

"Points of Light inspires, equips and mobilizes people to take action that changes their world. We are thrilled to partner with 'The Revolution' as they help people act on the talents and passions they discover in themselves," said Michelle Nunn, CEO of Points of Light. "ABC's match of viewers' personal pledges will turn transformation commitments into support for real time action. It will put books in the hands of volunteer tutors, shovels in the hands of those supporting disaster recovery, health care specialists in front of veterans as they face the challenge of returning to their lives, and so much more."
