Approximately 20 students at Huth Road Elementary School have begun work on the next installment of the school's newspaper.

The second group of the third-grade Newspaper Club met last week to lay the groundwork for their next print edition under the supervision of teachers Melissa Marciszewski and Angela Gorecki. At the first meeting, the students also sat through a presentation by Island Dispatch editor Larry Austin, who distributed to the students free copies of the most recent copy of the Island Dispatch, as well as professional reporter's notebooks to help them in their day-to-day duties. He also demonstrated how when he finds a mistake that makes it into print he beats his head against a wall. The budding journalists remained undaunted.

The curious students among the group asked several questions, during the presentation, including "How do you come up with ideas for stories to write about?" When Austin figures that out, he promises to report back to the club.
