The following activity occurred Monday, Jan. 2, to Sunday, Jan. 8, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 70 calls during this period.

Monday, Jan. 2

•Lower Niagara River, possible unattended boat drifting down the river. Patrol checked and reported they were duck hunters.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, neighbor problem. Patrol spoke with two females and reported no problems.

•1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, custody problem. Statements taken from a 40-year-old female and a 38-year-old male. Investigation to continue.

•900 block of Swann Road, animal problem. Patrol dispatched the animal.

•900 block of Seneca Street, burglary/larceny. Statement taken from a 33-year-old female who reported an iPhone and a mountain bike taken. Report filed.

•Saunders Settlement Road at Buffalo Street, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from the drivers; both vehicles towed. Report filed.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

•3500 block of Ransomville Road, assist. LPD on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Office for an elderly male who walked off from a residential facility. Patrol reported the call as a mental health response; subject located on Route 93. Patrol cleared.

•200 block of Tuscarora Street, AED/EMS call. LPD on location to assist Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. Patrol cleared.

•Locations on the Robert Moses Parkway and on Upper Mountain Road, reports of one-vehicle accidents. Statements taken from the drivers; reports filed.

•3100 block of Creek Road. LPD on location with NCSO for a suspicious vehicle.

•1200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, follow-up. Patrol on location to assist hotline responders on a custody problem.

•Bond Lake, suspicious vehicle. Plate number logged and vehicle located. Patrol told occupants to leave park.

•Upper Mountain Road, property-damage accident. Patrol reported the arrests of a 23-year-old male from vehicle No. 1 with New York registration and a 45-year-old male from vehicle No. 2 with Ohio registration, both on charges of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Suspects arraigned at Lewiston Town Court. The Ohio driver was released on his own recognizance and the New York driver was assigned $250 bail and remanded to the NCSO. Report filed.

Wednesday, Jan. 4

•800 block of Center Street, larceny. Statement taken from a 31-year-old female. A 40-year-old male listed as a suspect fled in a black Cadillac eastbound on Center Street.

•1500 block of Military Road, assist. LPD on location at a supermarket with Town of Niagara Police and State Police in a search of the suspect from the above larceny on Center Street. A 41-year-old male listed as the driver of the vehicle was detained by TNPD. LPD reported the suspect fled on foot. LPD K-9 unit tracked the suspect to a location on Second Street in the Town of Niagara, where he was detained by officers. No further information.

•700 block of Cayuga Street, alarm response. Owner on location; call accidental. Patrol cleared.

•500 block of Riverdale Avenue, received property. Patrol reported staff at the facility had found what appeared to be an inmate jumpsuit. Patrol contacted NCSO who informed the correctional facility name printed on the garment did not exist. Patrol cleared.

•400 block of Dutton Drive, mental health response. Patrol assisted Crisis Services on the call. Patrol cleared.

•1400 block of Saunders Settlement Road, mental health response. Patrol assisted Crisis Services on the call, which involved two male juveniles. Patrol cleared.

•LPD office, attempted car theft. Statement taken from a 31-year-old male regarding an incident that occurred sometime in the past week on the 2200 block of Ridge Road. Report filed.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, custody problem. Statement taken from a 38-year-old female; report filed.

•2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, alarm response at a pizzeria. Business secure; key holder on location.

Thursday, Jan. 5

•4200 block of Dickersonville Road, check welfare. Caller reported a 69-year-old male, highly intoxicated, on the floor of the home, with a head injury. Lewiston No. 1 on location to transport to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.

•Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a 38-year-old female on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation. Driver released on uniform traffic tickets to Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle secured; report filed.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, fight. Call handled by NCSO.

•900 block of James Drive, check welfare. Patrol reported the complainant was highly intoxicated; call unfounded.

•400 block of Center Street, hit-run. Statement taken from driver No. 1; driver No. 2, vehicle unknown possible white in color, left the scene. MV form issued; report filed.

•Model City and Ridge roads, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a 30-year-old female on a charge of third degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle released to a valid driver.

Friday, Jan. 6

•200 block of South Third Street, EMS response. Lewiston No. 1 on location for AED response and transport.

•600 block of Cayuga Drive, fraud complaint. Party advised by patrol not to send money and to avoid calls.

•Saunders Settlement and Townline roads, attempt to locate. Patrol on the lookout for a dark Chevy Blazer; two males reportedly stole three cases of beer from a gas/convenience business. Area checked with negative results. State Police on location to handle report.

•4500 block of Washington Drive, unwanted party. Male found a ride home.

Saturday, Jan. 7

•5442 block of Elm Drive, AED response. An 84-year-old female was taken by Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. EMS to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's.

•Walmore and Mount Hope roads, one vehicle rollover injury accident. Patrol reported the arrest of a 19-year-old male listed as the driver, who was taken to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo for treatment. Blood testing conducted and subject charged with driving while intoxicated. Uniform traffic tickets issued with return date for Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle secured with 12-hour hold. Report filed.

•Townline Road, vehicle check. Patrol reported the arrest of a 28-year-old male on a charge of third degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Uniform traffic tickets issued with return Lewiston Town Court date. Vehicle towed report filed.

•Lewiston Road, vehicle check/arrests. Patrol report the arrests of two males, both age 21, on charges of unauthorized possession of marijuana. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Riverview Drive, assist. LPD on location with NCSO on a suspicious person call. Two males located; called handled by NCSO.

Sunday, Jan. 8

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, harassment. Male reports being punched in the face by a friend who was gone on patrol's arrival. Subject advised to sober up and call back later.

•400 block of Center Street, suspicious male on foot near a bar/restaurant. Subject ran off when approached by U.S. Border Patrol. Subject described as a white male, 6 feet, thin build and wearing a white hooded jacket and dark pants. Area checked with negative results.

•Mount Hope Road, fight. Complainant on the 5200 block of Chew Road did not want to pursue charges. NCSO handled the call.

•Creek and Swann roads, suspicious male. Subject reported as walking to his brother's house on Swann Road.

•3600 block of Dickersonville Road, domestic assist. LPD on location with NCSO. A 35-year-old male, from above call, was reported in an intoxicated state reportedly and with his father at the address. Subject left without incident with his brother.

•1200 block of Pletcher Road, found property/assist. LPD on location with NCSO on a report of found property in a field on the north side of Pletcher Road. NCSO ID Unit secured four cash drawers. Also recovered from the location was a quantity of copper pipe.

•West Park Lane, shooter complaint. Call unfounded.

•200 block of South First Street, harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 59-year-old male; referred to LPD officer.

•200 block of North Fifth Street, suspicious package. Statement taken from a 64-year-old female; suspect unknown. Report to follow.

•400 block of Cherry Lane, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 42-year-old female; suspect unknown.

•1000 block of Sweethome Road, domestic. Patrol listed a 37-year-old female and a juvenile as persons involved. Domestic incident report filed.
