The Erie County Sheriff's Office reports its officers responded to 147 calls from Dec. 24 to 30. Below is a sampling of only those incidents the ECSO reported to the Island Dispatch.
Sunday, Dec. 25
•East River Road, disorderly person - A complainant stated that a male subject was intoxicated and harassing people in the parking lot of a restaurant. An investigation by deputies led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man from Buffalo for harassment in the first degree, obstruction of governmental administration and disorderly conduct. The man was transported to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in Town of Grand Island Court.
Wednesday, Dec. 28
•Town Hall Terrace, larceny - A complainant stated that an unknown person stole his credit card and made numerous unauthorized purchases. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
Friday, Dec. 30
•Grand Island Boulevard, suspicious vehicle - A complainant stated that a vehicle was seen in the lot of an amusement park late at night. Deputies located the vehicle and advised the occupant.
