The Town of Porter Republican Committee announces a name change.
"The Town of Porter Republican Committee will now be known as the Town of Porter/Village of Youngstown Republican Committee," says committee Chairman Duffy Johnston. He notes that, "2012 is going to be one of the most important election years our community has seen."
Currently, Johnston is looking for "some hard working men and women" that would like to join the committee. Duties include the passing of petitions for GOP candidates seeking office, and being involved in the actual interviewing of candidates. GOP registered residents of the Town of Porter and Village of Youngstown are welcome to inquire.
