Congresswoman Kathy Hochul released the following statement after Time Warner Cable and MSG Networks failed to reach an agreement on carrier fees, causing subscribers to lose coverage beginning Jan. 1:

"The Buffalo Sabres are a tremendous source of pride for our region, and we should not forget the important role our fans play in making professional hockey a success.

"I join my fellow Sabre fans, across Western New York, in encouraging Time Warner Cable and MSG Networks to come together and resolve this situation quickly."
