Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the greater Buffalo area to give away nearly 10,000 donuts on New Year's Day

Dunkin' Donuts today announced a New Year's Day initiative to celebrate 2012 as the year of "20 Dozen." The first 20 guests to visit a participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurant in the greater Buffalo area after 7 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2012, will receive a dozen donuts for free.

The offer will result in nearly 10,000 donuts being given away in the greater Buffalo area.

"The New Year has added significance to Dunkin' Donuts in 2012 and we'd like to celebrate with a sweet offer for our loyal guests," said Eric Stensland, upstate New York field marketing manager for Dunkin' Donuts. "It's our way of thanking our guests for their support as we kick off the year of '20 Dozen.' "

Guests visiting the front counter or drive-thru will be eligible to receive a free, pre-packed dozen donuts -- while supplies last -- at participating restaurants; no purchase necessary.
