The following activity occurred Monday, Dec. 12, to Sunday, Dec. 18, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD reported a total of 79 response calls during this period.

Monday, Dec. 12

•LPD office, aggravated harassment complaint. Statement taken from a male regarding another male. Report only at this time.

•Ninth and Center streets, suspicious male soliciting donations and cash. Patrol interviewed a 42-year-old male and advised the individual to move on.

•4600 block of Porter Center Road, bench warrant execution. Patrol reported a 17-year-old male suspect was arraigned at Lewiston Town Court. Bail of $750/$1,000 assigned and suspect remanded to custody of Niagara County Sheriff's Office for transfer to the Niagara County Jail.

•4200 block of Lower River Road, check welfare. House secure; no activity.

Tuesday, Dec. 13

•Chicora Road and Eighth Street, suspicious person. Patrol located a 54-year-old male who said he was taking a walk.

•Upper Mountain Road, one vehicle accident. Statement taken from the driver. Vehicle towed with no hold.

•4000 block of Creek Road, custody issue. Statement taken from a 19-year-old female. Complaint referred to family court.

•3700 block of Lower River Road, assist. LPD on location with NCSO for an unwanted party. Subjects gone on patrol's arrival.

•900 block of Creek Road Extension, harassment. Statement taken from a 52-year-old female. Investigation to continue.

•Parking lot locations on the 700 block of Center Street and at Niagara University, separate reports of two-vehicle accidents. Statements taken from three of four parties involved. Driver left the scene of the NU accident.

•Town of Lewiston Court, warrant execution. Patrol reported the arrest of a male who was arraigned and then released.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

•Church and Ridge roads, assist. LPD on location with State Police on traffic detail.

•Lower River and Pletcher roads, animal problem. U.S. Border Patrol reported a sickly looking fox in the area. Patrol checked with negative results.

•4200 block of Dickersonville Road, check welfare. Patrol reported a 69-year-old male called a wrong number numerous times. Patrol advised the subject to stop.

•900 block of Orchard Drive, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 58-year-old female who reported an insurance company tried to sell her insurance and she believes it is not a real company. Report filed.

•1900 block of Upper Mountain Road, one vehicle accident. Statement taken from the driver; vehicle towed. Report filed.

•800 block of The Circle Drive, AED response. Patrol reported Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. EMS took a 57-year-old female with chest pain to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.

•Unspecified location, assist. LPD K-9 unit requested by Town of Niagara Police for a search of a suspect who fled from a stabbing.

Thursday, Dec. 15

•5300 block of Military Road, Mount St. Mary's Hospital, intoxicated male. Hospital staff reported a 57-year-old male listed as intoxicated with a heart condition fled the hospital on foot. Subject considered a safety risk and staff wanted him to return.

•5300 block of Military Road, Mount St. Mary's Hospital, K-9 search. LPD K-9 unit located the male subject from the above call on the 700 block of Upper Mountain Road and returned same to the hospital.

•4800 block of Eddy Drive West unattended death. Patrol reported the death of a 92-year-old female.

•2300 block of Lower Mountain Road, car-tree accident. Patrol reported a 69-year-old female driving a vehicle with Ohio registration was taken to Mount St. Mary's. Vehicle towed.

•2600 block of Upper Mountain Road, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 57-year-old female regarding a female suspect. Investigation to continue; report to be filed.

•2700 block of Ridge Road, suspicious person. Patrol checked the area with negative results.

•1600 block of Saunders Settlement Road, check welfare. Caller reported an 11-year-old male juvenile throwing things around the house. Patrol advised him to go to bed.

•700 block of Onondaga Street, building fire. Burned items on stove; no fire. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. responded.

•2800 block of Saunders Settlement Road, alarm response at a Laundromat business. All secure. Key holder on location reported problems with an alarm.

Friday, Dec. 16

•Saunders Settlement and Walmore roads, two-vehicle hit-run accident. Statement taken from driver No. 2; other vehicle left the scene. Investigation to continue and patrol's report to follow.

•100 block of Center Street, follow-up. Patrol reported the arrest of a 22-year-old female on a larceny charge. Arrest stemmed from an earlier fraud complaint on the 2600 block of Upper Mountain Road. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court and suspect released. Report filed.

•5900 block of Garlow Road, prowler complaint. All OK; patrol reported it was a neighbor.

•5900 block of North Kline Road, underage party. Patrol reported the arrest of a 17-year-old male on marijuana charges. No further information.

•1000 block of North Hewitt Drive, mental health response. Unidentified subject interviewed and taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Center by Rural Metro ambulance.

•600 block of Pletcher Road, check welfare. Male reported as suicidal. State Police handled the mental health response.

Saturday, Dec. 17

•Townline Road by Niagara County Community College, one vehicle accident. Statement taken from the driver; vehicle towed and unspecified uniform traffic tickets issued. Report filed. Patrol reported a second one-vehicle accident on Townline Road later in the day. Statement taken from the driver and vehicle towed. Report filed.

•400 block of Center Street, criminal mischief. Statement taken from a 48-year-old female regarding a sign damaged the night before by a female juvenile. Report filed,

•400 block of Center Street, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a 49-year-old female who reported her son received a letter in the mail from an unknown person. Patrol reported the letter was an informational mailing.

•300 block of Kerr Street, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a 21-year-old female who reported her ex-boyfriend called and threatened her. Report filed.

•Saunders Settlement Road, westbound, attempt to locate. Caller reported an intoxicated driver in a grey Dodge Durango heading westbound from a gas/convenience business on the 2900 block. Patrol unable to locate; plate number logged.

•Saunders Settlement and Garlow roads, vehicle/traffic stop-DWI arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 24-year-old male for driving while intoxicated. Suspect issued appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance. Vehicle towed.

•Saunders Settlement and Tuscarora roads, reckless driver. Plate number logged; no problems found.

•Saunders Settlement and North Kline roads, vehicle check. Unidentified driver cited for speeding in zone and having switched plates. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court.

Sunday, Dec. 18

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, domestic. Statements taken from a male and female, both 23 years old. Domestic Incident Report and patrol's report both filed.
