Ransomville Speedway is proud to announce and welcome Brittany Catchpole as Miss Ransomville Speedway 2012.

"We are excited to have Brittany on board at the Big R for the 2012 season," said PR Director Tana Robinson. "Her enthusiasm is contagious as is her smile. She will be a bright addition to our staff and the sport."

Having graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield Senior High School last June, Catchpole is currently enrolled as a freshman at Niagara University studying political science. Catchpole has high aspirations of a career in politics and is currently a Niagara County Legislature for the 6th District, serving the towns of Niagara and Wheatfield.

A long-time fan, Catchpole has attended the speedway for several seasons with her family. Her cousin, Tim Kott, raced streetstocks the previous couple seasons while her other cousin, Cody Kott, currently races in the go-kart ranks.

Catchpole served as the honorary starter at Alex Friesen Summer Nationals in 2011 and is greatly looking forward to the season ahead as Miss Ransomville Speedway. Look for her to make her debut at the 12th annual Hangover 150 on Jan. 1.
